The Adventures of Liam Miller is a book of fantasy and imagination that follows Liam, a kid obsessed with comics and newly diagnosed with Leukemia. He escapes into his collection comics to deal with the daily grind of his treatments and compounding personal tragedies only to find himself pulled into an adventure of his own within the walls of the very hospital he is confined to for treatment. He uncovers grand conspiracies and intrigue between patients, nurses and the pharmaceutical industrial complex along the way. Ultimately it is up to Liam to save the hospital and the rest of the world with it. Teaming up with new friends, and conquering old fears, Liam learns what it means to be a real hero.
